Our Mission

Our mission is to be your human capital safety partner at work, home and play. We strongly believe that employees are the most important asset and the preservation of employee workplace safety and health must remain a constant consideration in every phase of business. A company must provide the resources necessary to manage, control, or eliminate all occupational safety and health hazards.

Our Beginning

Eagle Safety Management was founded in 2012 as a human resources and safety training company with a niche focus on selling safety supplies and equipment out of a mobile store in order to support the needs of local and surrounding area oil and gas industry customers. The three partners recognized the demand for an outside occupational safety and human resources consulting firm that specialized in providing exceptional onsite human resource and safety training.

MEET OUR EAGLES

Jeremy Black

President & Cofounder

Jeremy graduated from Angelo State University in 2002 with his Bachelors’s in Psychology and in 2004 with his Masters in Industrial / Organizational Psychology. He began his professional career as the HR Manager for Hirschfeld Steel in San Angelo, TX. After his time at Hirschfeld Steel, he took the role of HR Manager for Quebecor World a large commercial printing company in Merced, CA.

Upon moving back to Texas, he assumed the role of HR & Safety Director for O’Hair Shutters a leading manufacturer of high-quality wooden shutters. He was presented with the opportunity to join US Foods one of the largest food distribution companies in the United States as the division HR Manager. Throughout his 10-year career in HR & Safety prior to co-founding Eagle Safety Management he has been involved in every aspect of Human Resource Management and Safety Management in a wide array of industries.

In 2012 he left US Foods to assist in the starting of Eagle Safety Management where he currently serves as CEO and with the help of Tommy Anthony runs all day to day operations.

Tommy Anthony

Chief Operations Officer

Tommy is from Abilene, Tx, and is an awesome Cooper grad!  He started his professional career in 2002 in the U.S. Navy. Tommy started his career in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate on nuclear-powered submarines. During that time, he discovered his passion for project management, maintenance and repair, health and safety, and teaching others while leading junior and senior sailors.

After 12 years of active duty, he transitioned to civilian life while continuing to serve in the Navy Reserves. In 2014 he assumed the position of facilities manager at the nation’s leading multi-level and preeminent mixed-use facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Here he led safety initiatives and major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. From there he took an opportunity in Chicago, Illinois working as an operations and maintenance manager at one of the nation’s largest biosolids recycling facility. Here he spearheaded all aspects of their EHS program ranging from Air Permitting to behavioral-based safety programs.

In 2019, Tommy left the biosolids recycling facility, moved to San Angelo, and joined Eagle Safety Management. He is a genuine and wise leader who focuses on engaging leaders to exceed their own perceived potential and surpass expected organizational requirements with their team.
